This secret section is dedicated to the fabulous talent that is the living legend of German 60's pop:
Heino!
Here we offer a humble collection of pictures and a sample tune. We welcome any additions to this collection, and will generously reward you for any Heino media you submit. An autographed picture of Heino. Your life
is now complete. (Hint: Turn up your monitor's brightness to
see his unearthly eyes through his glasses in this pic.) The famous Carnival in Rio album. It's like
a German version of Woodstock that isn't fun. Note the megalomanical
title. Here Heino poses as a German version of Crocodile
Dundee, for a role in the thankfully unreleased movie "Tätigkeit
Heino". If you think that's a knife, you should see his "knife"! A fun album of militant German/Spanish dance
tunes. Polka makes the party! Get the title track from In Einer Bar in
Mexico here! Heino's sensitive period. The pink shirt and
elevated hair will win the heart of those Polish Ladies after whom the
album is titled. A rugged outdoorsman and sensual songwriter,
Heino gets back to basics. Rumor has it that Heino always slept in his
blue turtleneck and leather jacket. I guess that would explain his bead-head
too. "Sometimes all are the same". hmm Heino was a striking lad in his youth, which
he spent most of in a lithium haze. Heino seen floating above the surface of Uranus.
I bet you are wondering how he got behind you! Heino at his audition for the Heidi n' Grampa
All-Star Band. His failure led him to persue a solo career. Lucky for
us.
